Clean, Shetland fiber ready for your spinning pleasure! Emily was the first ewe of our flock and is also one of our smaller sheep. Shy but friendly she's fiend for animal crackers! Emily is not sheared as she is an ancient breed and has retained the tendency roo, which means that we hand pluck her fiber! This method gives us a wonderful fleece with no second cuts! Her fleece averages between 3 - 5 pounds with a staple length of 3- 5 inches. Emily's wool is an oatmeal white with a hint of grey.
