He is sheared in the spring and his fleece averages around 7 - 8 pounds with a staple length of 5-7 inches. His wool is lustrous, with a strong, wavy crimp, and is a beautiful silvery platinum. When dyed this fleece produces deep, vibrant, glossy colors.
